The Ram 1500 has been one of the three most popular full-size pickups in America for years. For 2025, the Ram 1500 offers a choice of new twin-turbocharged six-cylinder Hurricane engines that can give you either 420 horsepower or 540 horsepower. The maximum towing capacity in the 2025 Ram 1500 was previously 12,750 pounds and that has been reduced to 11,580 pounds. For 2025, you can get a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that's good for 305 horsepower, 271 pound-feet of torque and 7,730 pounds of towing capacity.

The standard 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 continues to generate 410 horsepower or you can move up to the optional 6.7-liter Cummins® turbodiesel inline-six with 370 horsepower and a hefty 850 pound-feet of torque.
A properly equipped 2024 Ram 2500 heavy-duty truck continues to give you a maximum towing capacity of 19,000 pounds, making it a first-rate choice when you're moving heavy equipment. The Ram 2500 can still pack a payload of up to 3,240 pounds.
The Ram 3500 can take your productivity to an even higher level with an available high-output version of the 6.7-liter Cummins® turbodiesel that's good for an amazing 420 horsepower and 1,075 pound-feet of torque.
Like the 2024 Ram 2500, the only new addition is a Tailgate Ajar Warning lamp. The Ram 3500 continues to show why it's Ram's most capable truck with a jaw-dropping maximum towing capacity of 37,090 pounds.
